Kids Say the Darndest Things.......

It seems like the funny things my kids say are always while we are driving. Does that give any insight on what my life is like??? Always on the go......now to the funny moment.

Kyle had been out of town for the week and found a toy that Bryce wanted for some time but could never find; the BumbleBee Transformer. He bought it, but debated giving it to him since he doesn't play with them anymore (good way to save, honey). Sure enough Bryce found it hiding in the car, and started putting it together. (he usually does this in no time, with out any problems.) After a little while I realize he is trying to cram two parts together, and getting a little frustrated with it. I just tell him, wait until we get home and we'll try to figure it out. He keeps trying... (probably thinking What can you do help me, mom?)...and he keeps trying....and is still trying........ Finally he pulls out the instructions, and voila! gets it put together. He then turns to me and said "I guess you really do need to read the instructions." I'm glad it finally dawned on him at 11 years old, I'm still trying to get my husband to realize the very thing. Oh the things we can learn from our kids........... ;)

Yeah, don't you love when .... people (men) put together stuff without directions and there's a handful of screws and parts left over. Umm...hopefully it doesn't fall apart. :)
(looks like you fixed the comment issues?)

Welcome to the blog world. That's funny, you definitely have to continue to remind him of that one. I don't think I've ever heard a man say "I guess you really do need to read the instructions."
