This looked like such a fun tag, I couldn't pass it up. My answers are all about my first pregnancy.........
1- Where were you when you first found out you were pregnant?
I was in the bathroom of our apartment in Salt Lake City.
2-Who was with you?
I went and checked myself...and ran out to the bedroom to tell Kyle.
3-How did you find out that you were pregnant?
A home preg. test, but I suspected it when we were driving home from a weekend in Boise, and I had to stop so many times to go to the bathroom...so not like me! I also had the munchies all weekend. We got home late on a Monday night, and I had Kyle go to the store to pick up a test at 11:30pm...I'm not a patient person.
4- What was your first reaction to finding out you were pregnant?
I was ecstatic, but surprised also because we were scheduled to do a surgery two months later to find out why I was not getting pregnant.
5-Who was the first person you told?
Kyle of course
6-Did you plan to get pregnant?
Well, we had been trying for about 6 months, but the Dr. thought I may not be able to get pregnant and wanted to do a exploratory surgery to find out what was going on with me.
8-Did you want to find out the sex?
Yes, we did find out. (these answers are about my first...for my third child we waited.
9-What was the sex?
Baby boy, and he's so dang cute!
10-Did anyone throw you a baby shower? Who?
Yep. The girls I worked with were giving me a shower, but sure enough the night of the shower, I went into labor! So the next day they came and threw me a shower at the hospital.
11-Did you get any outfits at the baby shower that you just knew you weren't going to put on your baby?
No actually, they all went in and got me a big gift. But I did receive a couple of outfits during the first year, that were a little interesting.
12-How much weight did you gain?
With my first, I gained 28 pounds.....we won't discuss the weight gain on the other two.
13-Did you lose all of the weight that you gained?
Yes, luckily I did.
14-Did you get a lot of stretch marks?
Yes, I did with the first....and I'm still not happy about it 12 years later!
15- What did you crave the most? Anything weird?
I craved Jolly Ranchers, I couldn't get enough.
16-Who or what got on your nerves the most?
I remember my legs gave me the most grief. The aches and the charlie horses were about to drive me insane!
17-Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
No thank goodness.
18- Where were you when you went into labor?
That morning, I went to a Dr. appt and was checked..I think dilated to a 1 or 2. I went to work afterwards and had backaches throughout the whole day. By the time I got home at 5:30 I started having a lot of pain, and by the time Kyle got home around 6:00, I was sure it was time.
19- Did your water break?
Nope.
20- Who drove you to the hospital?
Kyle
21- Did you go early or late?
I was two weeks early...YEA!
22- Who was in the room with you when you gave birth?
Just Kyle and hospital staff.
23- Was it videotaped?
What? Negative. No way.
24- Did you have any drugs for the pain?
Of course, wouldn't have it any other way!
25- What was your first reaction after giving birth?
I can't believe he's here already!
26- How long were you in labor?
Arrived at the hospital at 7:30 and delivered him at 12:00 midnight, and I only had to push about 5 times to get that little guy out! I was very lucky.
27- How big was the baby?
6 lbs 15oz, 19 inches.
28- Did your Husband cry?
Yeah...he did. It was sweet.
29- Did the baby have any complications?
Well, he was a little jaundice, but we had to just lay him in the light, and all was well. Thank goodness, nothing serious.
30- How old is your baby today?
He just turned 12 years old!!!
31-If you could, would you do it all over again?
Of course....and I did two other times!
