We spent a day at Olympic Park in Park City. We saw Olympic hopefuls and past Olympians put on a show. It was amazing to see these ski jumpers! One of the boys was only 11 years old- That's right 11- same age as Bryce. It was really cool. Here are some pictures, that do not do the show justice.

Johnson Family Reunion

We had our Johnson Family Reunion in Park City this year. The weather was great, and it was so fun for the family to get together again. We swam, went down the alpine slides, zip lines, spent a day at Olympic Park, and at Seven Peaks, and ate at the Lion House and toured the Beehive House (I love that place). It was busy, but very relaxing as well. Here are a few pictures to share.

We had so much fun jumping! Most of us were able to do lots of backflips, and my goodness was it tiring! I wish I had as much energy as the kids.

We are on vacation for the next couple of weeks, here are a few memories we are creating with our family.

The John F. Shelley Visitors Center is named after my Great, great, grandfather. This room is actually in the Gordon B. Hinckley Visitors Center at BYU. They had a special luncheon in his honor for all of his descendants. I am so glad I was able to attend, but of course I did not know anyone there. It was really cool knowing that we were all related.

This is the dessert that we had during the luncheon. It was so beautiful and delicious! This is actually ice cream, but you'd never know it until it was right in front of you. I guess it was his favorite dessert so they decided to fly it in that morning from Michigan- no big deal, we'd all do the same....right???
