I was trying to take some cute pics of my new nephew, Drew, who is about 2 weeks old. I tried laying him on his stomach and have him curl up, but he just dug his head into the blanket moving it around (as much a 2 week old can do), it was really cute. Eryn was watching and asked "What is he doing? Is he trying to twirl?"
Last summer Jake (cousin) found a new word he liked to say... stupid. Andrea would tell him not to say that, it isn't nice...but he liked saying it anyways (he's over it now). He and Kaitlyn were outside playing when Jake called Kaitlyn stupid, Andrea was there and corrected him, saying no "Kaitlyn is smart, not stupid, say your sorry." Kaitlyn replies "I am smart because I know what 200 + 200 is. It's 600!"
Kaitlyn came into the our office the other night crying. I asked her what was the matter and she replies through her tears "Jake and Eryn are drawing and I think they are going to draw a weird picture of me." (The picture below is of her after telling me that.) Obviously she was very tired.
The little things they say aren't a lot, but they make me smile and love my children even more. It reminds me how young and innocent they are. I love being their mom, so I can hear all their little things.

Well, however Kaitlyn got 600 out of 200+200, sign me up to do the same! I think the things children say are one of the highlights of parenthood. Thanks for sharing~
