My Night.....

Last night the kids and I had such a great time. We were waiting for Kyle to come home to grill some chicken for dinner. It kept getting later and later and still a no show from dad. (he always get stuck at the office when a client comes in at 6,7 or even 8 at night) The kids were hungry, so we ate candy (thank you Mike for the early Halloween treats), then we ate popcorn and watched Hannah Montana. The girls and I just giggled with each other, it was a great time. At 8:00 I spoke with Kyle and realized he wouldn't be coming home for a while, so I took the kids out to find the rest of their costumes. As we drove the song "Bleeding Love" comes on, and of course we all start singing at the top of our lungs (even Bryce, but he probably won't admit to it now). Then we reminisce of all the dances we liked on "So You Think You Can Dance", and of course the dance Chelsea and Mark did to this song was our favorite. We scanned through all the stations looking for more songs to sing, and we found a couple accordion songs Bryce liked to dance to, and some Spanish ones we all danced to. We just laughed and laughed. We all were being so silly. We went to the Halloween Express, where Kaitlyn got too freaked out, then onto Savers and found just what we were looking for. The girls were a little freaked out seeing teenage boys trying on girl dresses and wigs. "That was so weird!" they kept saying. I guess that could be a little disturbing to little girls. Then finally at 9:30 we met up with Kyle and pigged out at Taco Bell. Whcih our orders kept getting all screwed up. Eryn and Bryce would go back and order something else, and of course wrong again. But we didn't care- everyone was in too good of a mood. It was a fun night, all rules out the window, and the kids actually were so nice to each other. I loved it.
This morning there is nothing but teasing and fighting. Things are back to normal :(
